Introducing Knowledge McNuggets
It’s been a year since I started my Ph.D. at Brown University. I’ve learned a lot, but I’ve also found areas where I’m not as strong. One of these areas is writing—I struggle to convey ideas in a simple and elegant way.
To improve this, I’m creating the “Knowledge McNuggets” post series. Each week, I’ll share small pieces of information on what I’m studying. This idea is inspired by the Feynman technique, which says the best way to learn is by teaching. Since I don’t have anyone to teach directly, I’ll adapt this technique into blog posts. The goal is to create content that can help others on similar journeys.
You might be asking yourself, why “Knowledge McNuggets”? It’s a play on the idiom “knowledge nuggets,” which means small pieces of knowledge, and one of the tastiest foods on the planet, Chicken McNuggets from McDonald’s (source: Me). Additionally, a naturally occurring piece of gold is called a “gold nugget,” so I hope you find some gold nuggets in my Knowledge McNuggets.

I’ll be adding all the links to each post in this series here. This will serve as a central hub to navigate the posts. You can see the full list of posts here:
